The company has already announced the Moto Z2 Force, Moto Z2 Play, Moto G5, Moto G5S, Moto C and Moto E4 - and most of these phones also have Plus size variants.

Apart from this, the specifications of the smartphone have also been leaked. As per the certification agency it says these are live ones that went through it's testing.

The Moto X4 will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and will be available in either Super Black or Sterling Blue, while measuring in at 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.99 mm and weighing in at 163 grams.

The subtle 'X' shape formed by the light at the center of the Moto X4's dual cameras is a nice touch, as are the notches to give it more of a DSLR-like vibe.

It will be a combination of a 12 MP sensor with dual autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4µm pixel size and an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and 120-degree field of view. At the front, we can see the display with thin bezels on the sides and below the display, we have the physical home button which doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.

The Moto X4 recently starred in a couple of hands-on shots, and now it's time for the phone to be the star of a brand new press render.

The selfie cam is a 16 MP unit with f/2.0 aperture and 1.0µm pixel size, which will support 4K video recording at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps.

On the back, the Moto X4 has a contoured design on its glass back and based on the renders, it should shimmer rather nicely when held in the light.

Earlier this year mobile tipster Evan Blass tweeted an alleged lineup of the Moto phones releasing this year, which indicated Motorola wouldn't be satisfied with just one flagship.

Moto X4 has recently been spotted in a flurry of leaks including the latest FCC listing.
